Powder Coating

Powder coating is a dry paint process using paint in a powder form.  It uses an electrostatic charge to cause the powder to stick to the surface to be painted.

The component is then cured in an oven at a temperature and time specified by the powder manufacturer.  The resultant finish is very hardwearing and heat resistant.

Powders are available in different formulations which provide different properties (e.g. weather resistant or high gloss finish) and a wide range of colours and finishes.

Types of finish available include:

-Smooth

-Antique

-Leatherette

-Texture

-Metallic

-Anti-bacterial

-etc.

Integrated Finishers can powder coat parts up to 4m by 2m and to commercial, military and aviation specifications.
